part of the community that support us is very important to the staff at
Cahill's. We maintain a long history of providing support back to the
community through volunteer opportunities and donations.
For many years, Cahill's has given support to the Hoosick Volunteer Fire
District, donating cars for the firefighters to practice using
extrication equipment and extinquishing vehicle fires. Our General
Manager, Paul, has been a member of the Hoosick Fire District for over
25 years and has held the position of First Assistant Chief for the past
10 years. He carries on a long legacy of firefighting in his family in
which his grandfather and his father served as the Department chief for
over 20 years collectively. Paul's two sons are following in his
footsteps. His son Ryan is also a member of the Department, and his son
Evan is enrolled in the Explorers program.
Manager John "JC" Cahill has a successful career as a business owner
and prominent and sought after public speaker. In 2010 JC was named
"Boss of the Year" by Locator Magazine.
JC was nominated by his colleagues while managing the Tahoma and Graham, Wash. locations of Meridian Auto Wrecking. His colleagues wrote,
"J.C. has a lot of positive influence on this company and believes in
each and every one of us. You hear about your friends or family having a
boss that goes above and beyond for their employees. Well now I can say
that I am extremely lucky to have one as well."
Today, JC oversees the business operations of Cahill's while managing his own auto salvage business located in Winchendon MA, Brown's Auto Salvage, with business partner, Mark Brown.
